This is a very exciting and developing area of our teaching school partnerships work with core schools embracing the benefits and challenges of Research and Innovation in many areas of Special Education. Led by Epinay, the partnership is working towards becoming a truly self-improving group of schools, and the prominence of innovative research is crucial to allow us to continue to push the boundaries of outstanding practice.
Our research informs professional learning through rigourous investigation, reporting and dissemination of findings to help improve pedagogy for all our members.
We co-ordinate our research with the Universities of Sunderland and Newcastle. This partnership is vital to ensure leaders have the capability and rigour needed to ensure the action research findings are useful and can effectively inform our professional learning initiatives.
